For those of you who missed class today, I made an announcement regarding cheating
on Projects 1 and 2. If you have submitted questionable work for Project 2, you have
until the deadline to remove it from the submission system and submit your own work. If
you turn in questionable work for grading, you will be penalized according to the course
policies. I will begin investigating the submissions for Project 2 once the deadline has
passed.
For those of you who were academically dishonest on Project 1, I want an email with an admission
of your academically dishonest behavior, what exactly you did, who else was involved, and
where you obtained such material from. If you do not come to me about it by the deadline,
I will begin contacting students next week to address the issue, and will be happy to involve
the Judicial Affairs office. In either case I will begin resolving this situation after next
week's exam.

For those of you having issues comparing the objects in your array, remember that
I said any objects you get will implement the Comparable interface. Dr. Sahni's
package doesn't have a special type of Object class that implements Comparable, so
you will have to cast your Objects to Comparables before you can use that method.
Here is a code fragment from my solution showing how to cast inside of an if statement:
if (((Comparable)element[i]).compareTo(element[i - 1]) < 0)
Monday May 21st, 2007
